FWBFM is a faith based youth residential program located in the heart of the East Tennessee Mountains. It was first established as Free Will Baptist Home for Children, an orphanage opened with Mr. and Mrs. I.L. Stanley as Superintendents. It was a humble beginning, but the care for orphans and other hurting children soon became a permanent facet of FWB Family Ministries. Today, our programs have expanded to meet the needs of the entire family. Over the last decade, we have witnessed many young people each year give their hearts and lives to the Lord. God is truly working at Family Ministries!

Our goal is to provide a strong support system which will enable children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens we serve to become productive and healthy members of the community.

The position of Direct Support Mentor provides stability and the framework needed for our youth residents to receive proper instruction and training. The Direct Support Mentor strives to build relationships with the residents and their families.
