INTRODUCTION:

Located in the heart of the East Tennessee mountains, Free Will Baptist Family Ministries has focused on "getting attached" to hurting children and families since 1939. Working alongside the Department of Children's Services, FWBFM Foster Care provides high-quality foster homes that seek to meet a child's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

POSITION:

We are looking for an ambitious and confident person to be part of a Team of individuals who have a heart for the foster care ministry, and a passion for helping children and their families. Applicants should have strong communication skills, experience in marketing or sales, are motivated and persistent, have strong time-management skills, and can easily build relationships with foster parents. Current social media, IT, and Mac skills necessary; all documentation through electronic filing. Position is needed in/around Morristown/Smoky Mountain Region, but is not strictly limited to Morristown; will consider applicants from East Tennessee to Nashville.

The Foster Parent Recruiter/Trainer will be responsible for identifying foster parents for our faith-based ministry, who will provide a safe, loving, therapeutic home to the children we serve. The Recruiter/Trainer will work closely with various community contacts, attend events and festivals, while educating our community on foster care and the need for foster homes. This individual will train foster parents using TNKEY for home licensing, and will become certified in assisting in writing home studies. The Recruiter/Trainer will need to have a flexible schedule that should include evenings and weekends for trainings and recruitment events. FWBFM will provide the employee with a company car and gas card to be used for daily travel throughout our placement areas. Starting salary with bonus for each foster home opened*.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree in a social services or related field

* Minimum of 1-year of related experience

* Will be required to sign a Statement of Faith

* Have a clean driving record

* Trained in TNKEY T4T, POPS, and other T4T processes ideal, but not required

*Case Management experience preferred to aide in working with foster parents

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to the below listing;

1. Recruiting foster homes, conducting interviews, leading trainings (TNKEY) and completing home studies of foster families

2. Coordinating marketing exposure, including traveling to homes and recruiting events

3. Work closely with the Foster Home Compliance Coordinator as well as Family Specialists

5. Possess excellent computer and communication skills

This is a Full-Time Salary position. Typical work-week is Monday-Friday, but flexible with scheduled events and trainings on the weekend and evenings. Interviews are being scheduled immediately. We look forward to talking to you soon!
