JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree from an accredited college or university
  • Certified and Licensed by the State of TN in Special Education
  • Able to pass an extensive background check

JOB DUTIES

Maintain student cumulative records and prepare Individual Performance Plans

Be alert and aware of physical, emotional & social difficulties concerning the students by closely supervising them at all times

Maintain daily attendance sheets

Plan weekly schedules, including field-trips and other activities

Maintain the organization and tidiness of the classrooms

Prepare and submit purchases for required materials

Conduct daily devotions following the King James Bible, and specifically follow Matthew 18 principle and always be a godly example to our students

Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification

Ensure smoke alarms and fire extinguishers are in proper working order and conduct monthly fire drills

Serve as a member of any relevant task forces of the agency and participate in continuous quality improvement activities
