High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in building maintenance required

Valid driver's license

Possess fundamental knowledge and requirements for electronical, pneumatic, plumbing and various mechanical systems

Knowledge of safety regulations, Life Code and OSHA

Genuine caring and interest in the elderly and disabled

JOB DUTIES (not an all-inclusive listing)

Yard work; mowing, trimming, snow removal, plant and foliage care

Maintain building (free of hazards) and conduct repairs

Coordinate and monitor outsourced projects/tasks for accuracy and completion

Inspect and maintain vehicles regularly ensuring safety and proper performance

Prepare and submit all required documentation and record keeping

Maintain compliance with all fire, safety and health requirements from any federal, state and agency policies

On-call/emergency availability

Lift and move heavy equipment and furniture

Supervisor department staff and review and approve timecards

Learn company policies and conform with those policies and procedures as well as ensuring other staff in your department do as well

Communicate professionally, both in appearance and attitude with all staff, residents, families, government agencies and resident associates at all times
