Free Will Baptist Family Ministries is pleased to announce that Jim Robinette has been hired as the new COO (Chief Operating Officer) of the ministry.

Jim graduated with a BA from Bowling Green University in May of 1989, and earned an MBA from Liberty University in December of 2006. Jim brings to Family Ministries nearly three decades of highly successful management experience, having recently retired as the Global launch planning and workforce manager for Ford Motor Company.

“To say I am excited to have Jim Robinette coming on board our team is the understatement of the year”, said Family Ministries CEO Jim McComas. “Jim has been a long time friend that I have worked closely with on a number of projects over the years. To be able to hire a person with his business acumen that is as fine a Christian man as I know, at just the time we needed someone, is truly an act of God.” , McComas stated.

“I am excited and humbled by this opportunity”, Jim Robinette shared. “To be able to use my business experience in a ministry that reaches the most broken and vulnerable among us is a dream come true. I look forward to helping continue the 80 year legacy of such a fine organization.

“ Jim, 55, has been married to his wife Tammy for 32 years. Tammy is an award winning, Grammy nominated singer/songwriter in the southern gospel and bluegrass music field. Jim and Tammy have one son, Preston, who is 28.

The Robinette’s have recently relocated from Northeast Ohio to their new home in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Jim will begin his new role at Family Ministries on August 1st.

Testimony

I arrived at the Home in 1977. I never knew the love of a family or Christ before then. From the education, discipline, faith, and morals that the House Parents, other kids, Mr. Raper, and the Church taught me will forever guide me. My successes in life are all because of the Home and Christ. A truly remarkable place in my heart.
