On Sunday, February 21st, 2016, we had a great evening of worship in song and praise with the Valley Forge Praise Choir and the Primitive Quartet.  We appreciate the churches that dismissed their Sunday night service and coming together for a truly spirit filled night for all, held at the host church, Valley Forge FWB Church, in Elizabethton, TN.

Whether it was going out and getting sponsorships, volunteering time in organizing the service, singing in the praise choir, or attending the concert, we want to express our gratitude for the outpouring of support.  A love offering was taken for the benefit singing, and we wanted to share with you the total contributions of $15,230.84, given through sponsorships, individuals and our faithful churches.  Through the involvement of our loyal friends, we can continue reaching out and share the joy of Christ with those He has entrusted to our care.

Testimony

I was there for 64 day starting from January 20, 2014 as a resident in DCS custody. I did not like it that much while I was there but after I got out I realized how much better it was than alot of group homes. It is a friendlier environment with great staff. We did have fun there, more than I realized while I was there. It was not that enjoyable while I was there because I was away from my home and family by force but now since I am out, I have truly realized what it has done for me and other people. It has gotten alot of teens boys to Christ by far while I was there. I really hope people will donate more stuff there because there was not much to do but it was not all that bad.
