Free Will Baptist Family Ministries (Family Ministries) provides essential services to the unborn and newborn through The Hope Center Crises Pregnancy Center, to teens and youth through residential group homes and foster homes, senior adults through The Laurels and Governor’s Bend Retirement and Assisted Living Facilities, and The Oaks Retreat Center, all under one amazing ministry. Family Ministries operates in three states, Tennessee, Virginia, and Arkansas to meet the needs of its clients.
Family Ministries is the only service provider in the State of Tennessee with a Level II Enhanced Alcohol & Drug program for young men. Family Ministries was “hand-picked” as the designated agency to offer this 60-day, enhanced treatment program to young men with alcohol and drug issues.
Based in Greeneville, Tennessee, Family Ministries was founded in 1939 and incorporated in 1949 as a 501[c]3 charitable organization. Family Ministries is a faith-based service provider.
According to Chapin Hall, performance standards used by state of Tennessee to rate performance of service providers, Free Will Baptist Family Ministries ranks # 1 in placement stability, has the highest % of children to leave its programs to live in a permanent family setting, and the highest % of children successfully remain in their permanent family setting.
