In 1939, Free Will Baptist Home for Children was founded as a ministry to orphans.  Today, we have grown into a multi-faceted social service agency serving hundreds of children, adults, and families in a variety of settings.

Over the years, Family Ministries has served thousands of children and families.  Today we care for hundreds of children, adults, and families each year.

What age children live at Family Ministries?

We serve children between the ages of 0 and 18 in our foster homes and group care homes.

How long does a child stay at Family Ministries?

The average length of stay for children in our foster homes is 2 years.  In community based group care, the average length of stay is 18 months, while in residential treatment the average is 4 months.
